Lavender Lemon Honey Panna Cotta – Elegant Dessert Recipe

Lavender Lemon Honey Panna Cotta

A refreshing and elegant dessert with a floral and citrusy twist, perfect for special occasions or a delightful treat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin (2 1/2 tsp)
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • Fresh berries and mint leaves for garnish

Bloom the Gelatin:
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 3 tablespoons of cold water. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes to bloom.

Infuse Cream with Lavender and Lemon:
In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, honey, lavender, and lemon zest. Heat over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes.

Strain and Heat:
Strain the mixture to remove the lavender and zest. Return the liquid to the saucepan and heat gently. Do not let it boil.

Incorporate Gelatin:
Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm cream mixture until fully dissolved. Add vanilla extract and mix well.

Pour and Chill:
Pour the mixture into individual ramekins or glasses. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Serve:
Garnish with fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, and mint leaves. Serve chilled.
